Description:

Encouraging Youth Entrepreneurs, Supporting Passions, and Building Dreams

At BASE Arizona, we believe in empowering our youth to pursue their passions, explore their talents, and thrive as leaders and creators. This is exactly what the Afro Scouts Crochet Club is all about!

We are thrilled to introduce Afro Scout and Youth Entrepreneur Raina, who has turned her love for crocheting into a thriving business. Raina creates beautiful crochet items and sells them, and now she’s stepping into a mentorship role to teach and inspire other youth Afro Scouts in the art of crocheting.

Starting Saturday, February 15, 2025, Raina will lead a monthly Crochet Club, where participants will:
🧶 Learn the basics of crochet.
🧶 Build skills to create advanced projects like plushy/stuffed animals (amigurumi).
🧶 Gain inspiration from a peer who has transformed her passion into a business.
