ARIZONA'S NEWEST LONG DRIVE GOLF LEAGUE IS COMING APRIL 12TH!
Beginning Saturday, April 12th, Arizona Long Drive Golf League (AZLD) will kick off a series of competitions where golfers will compete against others in their respective age divisions, with both male and female divisions available.
Our competitions are free to attend and open to the public! To compete, simply pay $25 for a set of five balls and take your shot. Your longest drive will be measured against others in your division. Want another chance? You can buy back in as many times as you like for $25 per set!
Each golfer will automatically be entered into two competitions: Long Ball and 3Ball.
In Long Ball, only your longest single drive counts toward your score—the longest drive wins in your division.
In 3Ball, your best three out of five drives will be combined for your total score—the longest total yardage wins in your division. Long Ball is all about power, while 3Ball challenges you to combine power with accuracy!
DIVISIONS
The big hitters will compete in the Open Division, which is open to competitors of all ages but will primarily feature golfers aged 18 to 34.
Juniors will compete in three age groups: 7 & under, 8-12, and 13-17. Adults will compete in two age groups: 35-44 and 45-54. Seniors will have two divisions: 55-64 and 65 & over. Adaptive golfers will compete in either the Junior or Adult divisions, based on age.
Prizes will be awarded to the winners of each division, with the winners of the Men's and Women's Open Division being awarded a free, one-year membership card to Ultimate Long Drive, valued at $225.
ON APRIL 26TH, ULTIMATE LONG DRIVE'S NORTH AMERICAN TOUR STOP IS ALSO COMING TO DOBSON RANCH!
AZLD is the Arizona affiliate of Ultimate Long Drive (ULD), the world's largest long drive organization. On Saturday, April 26th, we will host ULD's North American Tour Stop, where competitors will compete within their age divisions for a chance to qualify for the ULD World Championships, taking place October 1-4 in Columbia, South Carolina.
The Regional Qualifier will run from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., followed by our first ULD League event from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Winning your division in the Regional Qualifier automatically secures your spot in the ULD World Championships.
To compete in a ULD event, you must be a ULD member with an active Tour Card. Annual membership costs are as follows: $225 per year for Adults, $130 per year for Minors and Adaptive golfers, and $175 per year for Seniors (65+) and Valor members.
The entry fee for the April 26th Regional Qualifier varies by division: $80 for Junior and Adaptive golfers, $140 for Senior golfers (60+), and $200 for Adults. Players competing for cash prizes pay a higher entry fee of $400, with the total prize pot distributed among the top golfers in each division.
