Current Programs
8 Week Curriculum - Event Objective:
To empower Afro Scouts by providing them with a platform to explore entrepreneurship. The expo will encourage creativity, critical thinking, and business acumen while celebrating cultural heritage. Scouts will develop and present their own business ideas, fostering leadership, independence, and community involvement.
Expo Structure:
1. Pre-Expo Workshop Series (8 Weeks)
Week 1: Introduction to Entrepreneurship
Week 2: Developing a Business Idea
Week 3: Business Planning and Budgeting
Week 4: Branding and Marketing
Week 5: Presentation Skills and Pitching
Week 6-8: Mock Expo and Feedback
2. Youth Entrepreneurship Expo Event
3. Post-Expo Support and Follow-Up
Outcomes and Evaluation:
Scouts’ Entrepreneurial Mindset: Measured by their ability to identify problems, develop business ideas, and present solutions.
Leadership and Confidence: Observed through their participation, engagement, and public speaking during the expo.
Community Impact: Evaluated by the success of the event, feedback from attendees, and the potential continuation of scout-led businesses.
What’s a Rich Text element?
The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.
Static and dynamic content editing
A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!
How to customize formatting for each rich text
Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
